@ frank – spenser from sequence boardshop here… we are opening with the nidecker boys for next year and will have a stock of YES boards and will trickle in a little jones. same rep/etc for both brands for us so jones is right there at our fingertips as well. just letting you know… shop local!

I am stoked on this board. Buying a split has just been looming over my head. The people I frequent the backcountry with the most are on skis, and it sucks to watch them take off on their skins with their heel risers, while i work my ass off in my snowshoes with a board on my back. One thing I’m worried about is whether a first-year production model will have all the kinks worked out.

Jeremy, will you actually be riding this board frequently? As in, the exact sort of model that consumers will be purchasing? I figure that if you’ll ride it, you’ll ride it hard, and it must be pretty durable.
